Double-Sided Scouring Pads

Half the washing-up needs a gentle touch and half of it needs force, and one sponge is never right for both.

The soft side buffs glasses, non-stick pans and the hob without leaving a mark. Turn it over and the rough side takes off baked-on grease that an ordinary sponge only moves around. You stop keeping a separate scourer for the burnt pans.

Packs run from four up to a hundred, so you will not be buying sponges again for a while.

Rinse, wring, put it back by the sink.
